In short: Marriage Map collects no data, creates no accounts, makes no network requests, and requests no browser permissions. Everything runs locally in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party code.

Network requests

The app makes no network requests. All code, map data and marriage data are bundled with the app and loaded locally. It works fully offline.

Local storage

The app saves a couple of small flags in your browser's localStorage to remember that you've seen the one-time welcome tutorial and flat-map tip, so they don't show again. These never leave your device and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Permissions

It is a static web page — it requests no permissions, has no backend, and runs entirely in your browser.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for users of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated date above will change with it.
