GlobalTax — World Tax Rate Explorer is designed to be completely private.

What we collect

Nothing. GlobalTax does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal information or usage data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers.

How it works

• The extension runs entirely in your browser.
• All map geometry and tax data are bundled inside the extension — it makes no network requests.
• The only value you enter — your income on the slider — is used locally and is never transmitted. A single non-identifying flag may be stored in your browser's localStorage to remember you've seen the welcome disclaimer; it contains no personal data and never leaves your device.

Permissions

GlobalTax requests no permissions, no host permissions and no optional permissions. Its only capability is to open its own bundled page in a new browser tab when you click the toolbar icon.

Data sharing

Because no data is collected, no data is ever shared with anyone.

Children's privacy

GlobalTax collects no data from anyone, including children.
