About the Global Climate Explorer
This map paints the climate of every point on Earth — blue where it's cold, green where it's most comfortable, yellow for warm, red where it's too hot — for any month of the year. How the comfort score works
Climate figures are 1970–2000 monthly normals from WorldClim 2.1 (~18 km resolution), with relative humidity derived from vapour pressure. Cities are every settlement above 100,000 people (GeoNames). This shows the typical climate, not a forecast, and predates the most recent warming. Comfort is one defensible model among many — your mileage (and your sweater) may vary.
