Nothing. EarthTime does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party data sharing of any kind.
Your preferences — the cities on your clock strip, any family pins you drop,
and whether you last used the flat map or the 3D globe — are saved
locally in your own browser using the standard
localStorage API. This data never leaves your device and is not
accessible to us or anyone else. You can clear it at any time by removing the
extension or clearing the extension's storage.
None. EarthTime makes no network requests of any kind. The Earth imagery it displays — a daytime "Blue Marble" map and a night-time city-lights map, both public-domain NASA imagery — is packaged inside the extension and loaded locally. Nothing is ever fetched from, or sent to, any server.
EarthTime requests no permissions at all — no host access, no special capabilities, and no access to any website. It simply opens its own page when you click the toolbar icon.
EarthTime is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
