⚗️ How to use the Chemistry Lab

• Hover any element to see its details in the big card.
• Click an element to open the hi-res 3D atom explorer with live electron shells and annotations.
• Shift-click (or ⌘/Ctrl-click) to select multiple elements — they glow.
• Drag selected elements into the cauldron, or press Mix it!
• Slide the temperature to heat or freeze the mix — some reactions only happen when hot.
• Add Air, Water or a Spark to trigger combustion, rusting, explosions…
• Recolour the table by state of matter at your chosen temperature, electronegativity, or mass.
• Every reaction shows real thermodynamics — ΔH, ΔS and ΔG with an energy diagram. Watch ΔG flip sign as you change the temperature!
• Stuck? The 💡 Next hint always suggests what to try — a spark, some water, more heat…
• Make a new compound and it joins your Discoveries list. How many can you find?

Tip: try Na + Cl, then 2 H + O with a spark, then drop K into Water. 💥
